Gathering House began with a simple but bold dream—what if church felt like family again? In 2023, Aj and Rachelle Rice took a step of faith, not with a five-year plan, but with a heart for people and a deep desire to make space for authentic encounters with God.
They weren’t trying to build something flashy. They just wanted to build something real. A place where broken stories could find healing, where questions weren’t off-limits, and where people could belong before they had it all figured out. What started as a dream in their hearts has become a growing family of faith—rooted in Jesus, grounded in relationship, and reaching for more.

At Gathering House, we don’t just go to church—we live it. Our vision is simple: create space for people to encounter Jesus, find belonging, and step into their God-given purpose. But that vision doesn’t stay inside four walls. It shows up in living rooms and lunch tables, in prayers prayed over coffee, in generosity that reaches beyond comfort, and in ordinary moments made sacred.
We believe church is at its best when it’s active—when worship turns into action, when faith becomes formation, and when love meets people right where they are. Whether we’re serving our local schools, hosting neighborhood events, or circling up in small groups throughout the week, we’re chasing after the same goal: to see heaven come to earth—one relationship, one step of obedience, one gathering at a time.
